how do you spell
the taste of a kiss?
the feeling it leaves
upon lingering lips
the sound that it makes
as it fondles your tongue
the warmth that it leaves
like your face in the sun
how can you put into words
what you feel
as your arms hold each other
and the breath that he steals
what letters together
can outwardly voice
the smile he gives you
as he looks in your eyes
in his embrace,
what words could you say
to remember - exactly -
what you feel that day?

this poem personifies my exact mood today. i was feeling especially loving, especially crushy on mike, and just generally euphoric and i was on cloud nine all day. i know it's a little short, but i'm not much of a poet. also, voice and eyes don't really rhyme, but nothing else worked. think of it as taking advantage of poetic license. enjoy.
p.s.> sorry about the preview pic. i made it in like twenty seconds, and since i can't draw for beans, it sorta sucks.

i hate writing poetry...
makes me use crappy words
essays too...
stories better because YOU design everything...
except of course the paper you write it on
