ugh. people make me sad. here are some reasons why:

1. money-hungry corporations suck. i am a HUGE Pirates of the Caribbean fan, as you all know. And I mean HUGE. Like, 400lbs huge. (except i don't weigh 400lbs...it was just a metaphor). They're making a fourth one. And I am VERY sad. I thought it would be great - yay, more pirates! - but when i found out the rumours were true....i was pissed. I liked the way they left it. I don't think they need any more. And if Orlando and Keira aren't coming back, WHAT'S THE POINT?!?! I love Jack and Barbossa, but as much as I do...I just can't seem to be happy about this. HELP.

2. drunk drivers suck. A six-year-old boy that lived a few towns away from me was killed by one as he was crossing the street a few days ago. it's ridiculous. PEOPLE DON'T FREAKING LEARN. It may sound mean, but I don't care if the drunk driver gets hurt. If you're stupid enough to drive drunk, you deserve to get hurt, but the people around you don't. STOP DRUNK DRIVING. NOW.

3. selfish people suck. The cast list for Much Ado About Nothing was posted at my college yesterday, and a woman who said she didn't want a part got the lead. But that's not all - ohhhhh no. She told EVERYONE that the director told her that she wanted this woman to play Beatrice, and that if she gave her the part, would the woman take it. The biotch said, "Of course!" which left a whooole bunch of us pissed because we either didn't get a part or we got a small role. If you say you don't want a part, DON'T BE SELFISH AND TAKE ONE. I don't care that Pat (the director) asks! If you go into the audition with no intention of being in the play (just for the audition experience) and take the LEAD ROLE, you can just go do explicit things to yourself.

whatever.

on the lighter side, my play First Blood is coming along BEAUTIOUSLY. it's soooo good so far. but i may change the part i'm working on now...can't decide how fast i want it to play out.

ah well.
